Data Science vs Modern World, 26/11/2020

In today’s demanding environment we live in, concepts such as Data Science and artificial intelligence try to provide answers to great problems that concern humanity. Managing a pandemic, protecting the environment, social networks and political elections are just some of the issues that these sciences propose innovative solutions for. At the same time, however, they are also evolving themselves. Using tools from other sciences such as Game Theory, Data Science and AI have been able to extend their capabilities and find application in an even wider field of interest.

These issues are covered by the Webinar Data Science vs Modern World organized in collaboration with IEEE CS & RAS DUTh SBCs and the IEEE Student Branch at Sarajevo School of Science and Technology. IEEE DUTh SB Rebranding - Project #reiGNITE

The IEEE Democritus University of Thrace Student Branch, while planning its 20th anniversary, decided it is high time it presented to the public a new image. The board’s rebranding efforts focused around the accessibility of information as a means of further highlighting both the branch’s ongoing advancement and the IEEE’s founding vision of innovating for an enhanced future.

As today’s unprecedented times require, the DUTh SB’s marketing team joined forces with skilled graphic designers to present to both the public and the student members, a means of sharing, connecting and getting informed quickly and easily. Using all popular social media platforms and a brand new website, one can easily follow the branch’s exciting journey through current events and enjoyable content, as well as share all the above with the IEEE family.

The main goal of rebranding the student branch is to cover the need of getting involved, getting informed and learning the community in which all of us belong. Through exploiting the media at the best of our ability, we strived for the creation of an insight to our activities, our future plans.

We celebrate our 20th birthday and reignite our social image! Join us!
