The IEEE Power & Energy Society (IEEE PES), formerly the IEEE Power Engineering Society, is the oldest society of the IEEE with more than 37.000 members in 230 Chapters worldwide. Its mission is to be the leading provider of scientific and engineering information on electric power and energy for the betterment of the society, and the preferred professional development for its members. The scope of the Society embraces research, development, planning, design, construction, maintenance, installation and operation of  equipment, structures, materials and power systems for the safe, sustainable, economic and reliable conversion, generation, transmission, distribution, storage and usage of electric energy, including its measurement and control.

Here on IEEE DUTh PES SBC family we dream on research, development and design of projects where our members can be encouraged to enhance their knowledge and make their dreams come true throughout our annual teams, workshops, meetings, conferences and technical speeches either independent or in cooperation with other technical organizations .

High Voltage Team
High voltage team's purpose is not only studying high voltage theory but also analyzing various practical applications. On top of that we try to incorporate into the whole theoretical knowledge various energy related engineering subjects, such as power electronics, electric circuits and Tesla Coil.

Anonymous projects Team
Anonymous projects is a team focused on its members. The main concept behind it is that we create small but remarkable projects together while learning and having fun. We mostly use Arduino Uno because it is cost-efficient and it is suitable to our cause due to its limitless potential. The projects vary from smart trash cans to small engines!
